Dale William Perry Obituary Adrian Daily Telegram Posted Feb 25, 2012 @ 08:10 AM CLINTON, Mich. Dale William Perry, age 70, of Clinton passed away suddenly at his home Friday, Feb. 24, 2012. Dale was born Jan. 9, 1942, in Berkley, Mich., the son of James Raymond and Emily May (Hunt) Perry. He was married to his loving wife of 47 years, Linda (Cross), on July 18, 1964, in Detroit. After graduating from Olivet College, he taught economics at Tecumseh High School before beginning his 46-year career with Ameriprise Financial. Besides his career helping others reach their financial goals, Dale enjoyed a number of hobbies. Dale and Linda enjoyed traveling, their favorite destination being Punta Cana, where they were accompanied by many family members and friends over the years. Besides traveling, Dale enjoyed tending to his bird feeders, gardening and most of all encouraging his grandchildren in their educational and athletic endeavors. In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by two sons, Bryan (Tammy) Perry of Clinton and their children, Kyle and Karson, Jason (Jami) Perry of Tecumseh and their children, Coy and Colt; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Craft of Clarkston and their children, Alyssa and Bryant, and Traci (Steve) Stahr of Linden and their children, Adam (Alyssa), Jordan, Collin, Nolan; and great-grandchildren, Seth and Sophia Stahr; and one brother, Gerald Perry of Bishop, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James and Robert Perry; and one sister, Emily Barton. Funeral services for Dale will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh, with the Rev. John Trimble officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
